Three Volumes, One Framework

If a contribution has not been institutionally recorded, it does not exist within the institution. Care labor, public knowledge, the collective authorship embedded in training data, ecological and intergenerational value—these contributions foundational to civilizational functioning are, in most existing economic statistics, zero. This volume traces the political origins of the GDP accounting ledger—designed in 1932 by Simon Kuznets and consolidated during wartime mobilization—and shows how that ledger determined "what exists, what does not."

Co-Inclusion is not simply "seeing a little more," nor is it administratively absorbing everything into the system. What it actually addresses is this: bringing values and contributions that are foundational to civilizational functioning—whether human labor and contribution or nature's gifts—into the social accounting and return system, so that they can enter the formal frameworks of rights, distribution, governance, and protection.

This book starts from a question that traditional institutional language finds increasingly difficult to answer: when computing power, algorithms, and data are becoming the core infrastructure of civilizational functioning, who has the right to own them, govern them, and benefit from them—and how should these questions be institutionally answered?

The 3CO Principles are not a renaming of any existing ideology, nor a blueprint for a perfect society. They are a set of institutional coordinates—requiring any intelligent civilization's institutional design to seriously answer these three questions, otherwise the institutions remain incomplete no matter how advanced the technology.

Every great principle, the moment it enters reality, encounters the same fate: distorted, hollowed out, partially adopted, elegantly betrayed. The result: inclusion without return; the form of participation without substantive influence; the slogan of sharing without any change in power. This is the most common—and most dangerous—form of counterfeit implementation in intelligent civilization.

The Three-Coupling Framework's three layers: Co-Principle compresses direction into boundaries; Co-System embeds boundaries in rules, accountability, and process; Co-Tool writes those rules further into systems, interfaces, access controls, evidence, and rollback capabilities.
